Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Clemente Romero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Robustiano Lordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Meinhardt to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Genaro Brais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erich Pietta skillfully saved the ball. Erich Pietta came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Eibar 09-12-18's Guaberto Santiago. But to his dismay, Guaberto Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eibar 09-12-18's Justino Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Eibar 09-12-18 from getting a goal against them. When Eibar 09-12-18's Clemente Romero in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hertha 1969's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Michelberger to maneuver through the defense. Erich Pietta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Clemente Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Erich Pietta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Bannert in the 32nd minute of the match. Lothar Bannert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Justino Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Eibar 09-12-18's Clemente Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erich Pietta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Erich Pietta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Romero in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lordi came free, but Erich Pietta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hertha 1969 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eibar 09-12-18 were winning 0-2.

Lothar Bannert hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto-Stephan Keck in the 56th minute of play forced Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper Justino Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Erich Pietta got control of the ball when Robustiano Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Robustiano Lordi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erich Pietta. Robustiano Lordi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Otto-Stephan Keck took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Abadia. Justino Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Erich Pietta made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Robustiano Lordi sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Romero struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Erich Pietta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eibar 09-12-18. In the 85th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Dirr to maneuver through the defense. Erich Pietta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Romero in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jörn Achleitner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match, Robustiano Lordi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erich Pietta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 95 minutes, Dante Jakob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hertha 1969's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Jakob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Hertha 1969 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eibar 09-12-18's performance. The match ended with a win for Eibar 09-12-18.
