The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Radamel-Falcao García cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Theo Raaymakers hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Oscar Van Arschot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandez Villaelrriego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Erramun Cepa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Patrik Ooms got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Arno Van Caubergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Radamel-Falcao García made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Eustaquio Castorena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glenn Stuyck. That made the score 0-2 after 52 minutes of play. Xander Raeymakers hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Kimetz Gauna got a free kick in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Cancelo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Cancelo to maneuver through the defense. Fernandez Villaelrriego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur-Maurits Meersman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Glenn Stuyck was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Otsoko Zarza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otsoko Zarza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Eustaquio Castorena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glenn Stuyck came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Castorena slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 87th minute. Glenn Stuyck acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kimetz Gauna. The crowd rose to their feet as Radamel-Falcao García kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Glenn Stuyck. That made the score 0-5 in the 94 minute of play.
