Ingvar Nordkvist hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Elias Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Estevez came free, but Aaron Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Ekblom hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. DIF LEEDS BK's Elias Gustafsson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Abilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Aaron Bergqvist made a huge save. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Beti in the 45th minute of play. Octavio Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Bergqvist having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Beti to make the kick off. Holger Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Anastasio Abilio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karasuno's protests and gave Anastasio Abilio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Karasuno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Beti in the 65th minute of the match. The referee showed Boris Arvidsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ingvar Nordkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cecilio Favila made a huge save. Hans Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as DIF LEEDS BK's Ingvar Nordkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cecilio Favila. That made the score 0-1 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute, Holger Lidström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The supporters of Karasuno booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Karasuno manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DIF LEEDS BK to win.
