Aaron Bergqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Egídio Couto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prosper Pike was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Egídio Couto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist. Aaron Bergqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Franklin Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. In the 78th minute, Franklin Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. DIF LEEDS BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Franklin Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Osvald Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Osvald Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Amaral having to interfere. Aaron Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Osvald Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the DIF LEEDS BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvald Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA were the better team. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
