Amílton Antunes struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Henry Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaverde Celeste Clube. Charles Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Henriksdalskajens SK defense, Amílton Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Pettersson. The Henriksdalskajens SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Pettersson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Miguel Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Isaltino Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Pettersson. Henriksdalskajens SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaltino Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Stig Lööf kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Börje Morat had to leave the field with a concussion. When Isaltino Arce fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaverde Celeste Clube's protests and gave Isaltino Arce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Arce to maneuver through the defense. Jonny Tham hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Edson-Arantes Pelé shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henry Pettersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaverde Celeste Clube reached it. Augusto Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Big Dickey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Pettersson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Miguel Botelho. But to his dismay, Miguel Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Stig Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amílton Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Big Dickey to make the kick off. Augusto Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Dickey in the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson-Arantes Pelé in the 65th minute of play forced Henriksdalskajens SK's goalkeeper Henry Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute, Miguel Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Teodoro da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Henriksdalskajens SK's Stig Lööf got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Lööf in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Valladares. 92 minutes into the game, Henriksdalskajens SK's Big Dickey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Stig Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Fernandez having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Henriksdalskajens SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villaverde Celeste Clube.
