The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Magnus Dalström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Magnus Dalström struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fragiskos Saitiotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zero Hedge. After some careless play in the GREEN PANTHERS FC defense, Karl-Magnus Dalström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fragiskos Saitiotis. The GREEN PANTHERS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fragiskos Saitiotis should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute Babbis Tsaousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Arenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Ahlrot to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Nikos Dentsas in the 19th minute really tested Stefan Arenius's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Karl-Magnus Dalström might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fragiskos Saitiotis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Magnus Dalström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Karl-Magnus Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fragiskos Saitiotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alkaios Beos during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Alkaios Beos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Dalström took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fragiskos Saitiotis. Fragiskos Saitiotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Stefan Arenius was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nikos Dentsas. In the 46th minute, Isak Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 53rd match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Ahlrot to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Aris Petrochilos in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zero Hedge's Nils Eliasson. After 56 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Berg. GREEN PANTHERS FC's Giorgos Bobolis was substituted for Alekos Simeonidis. Bertil Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Magnus Dalström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fragiskos Saitiotis. That made the score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. Stefan Arenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Rachiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Magnus Dalströms short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Fragiskos Saitiotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zero Hedge made a substitution. Arman Sjögren replaced Alexander Johansson. Stefan Arenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Tsaousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tsaousis came free, but Stefan Arenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Zero Hedge getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nils Eliasson hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Nikos Dentsas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Arenius skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute, Bo-Erik Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Dimitris Rachiotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Arenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Nils Eliasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zero Hedge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN PANTHERS FC the free kick. After 85 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Nils Eliasson. The crowd rose to their feet as Åke Jansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fragiskos Saitiotis. That made the score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Åke Jansson notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of GREEN PANTHERS FC's Fragiskos Saitiotis. Fragiskos Saitiotis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Zero Hedge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zero Hedge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
