After 2 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Izaak Achterberg. After a rather tough play, Cremonese's Eustaquio Azibar got a free kick in the 4th minute. Julio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niels-Jan van Zijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Arias to maneuver through the defense. Cremonese made a substitution. Ildefonso Savion replaced Delmar George. Cremonese's Julio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels-Jan van Zijl in the 17th minute of play. Gerben Reiling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Arias in the 28th minute of the match. Cremonese's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Niels-Jan van Zijl scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vasco, making the score, 1-0. Izaak Achterberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vasco having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Restu was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Niels-Jan van Zijl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izaak Achterberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Jonathan de Freitas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The Underdogs's Jonathan de Freitas to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels-Jan van Zijl in the 63rd minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Julio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Rolando Oliverio put in a rough tackle. 65 minutes into the game, one of Cremonese:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Underdogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Cremonese's Jose Tab got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gerben Reiling. 83 minutes into the game, Melchor Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cremonese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Melchor Arias hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cremonese players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Underdogs.
