Modlau's Stasio Starogardzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanju Çolak in the 23rd minute of play. Walery Rekawiczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Rzeszutko in the 36th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper İrfan-Can Eğribayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulu Şavat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Rekawiczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Starogardzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Çolak in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Tanju Çolak came free, but Stasio Starogardzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
