Spectators: 8423 (Terracing: 6318, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Napoleon Bonjour took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdistan's Alfons Öberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alfred Nobel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Santiago Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mats Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mats Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jaime Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Elg having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Napoleon Bonjour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Flores in the 28th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Santiago Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Elg. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Isidro Lángara came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Elite Azulgrana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Lángara couldn't finish the play. Gaston Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Flores in the 42nd minute of play. The Elite Azulgrana fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Elite Azulgrana's Isidro Lángara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gaston Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Wik in the 56th minute of play. FC Kurdistan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Isidro Lángara scored to the left of an out of position Mats Elg, making the score, 0-3. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Kaj Lundkvist replaced Jari Litmanen. Mats Elg made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Isidro Lángara sent off a good shot on target. In the last second Mats Elg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Santiago Flores in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Elite Azulgrana were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after FC Kurdistan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isidro Lángara took the corner. Isidro Lángara made a great header on Elite Azulgrana's corner, it was just that FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg managed to reach the ball for a save. After 71 minutes, Hermengildo Iigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite Azulgrana and the FC Kurdistan players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Kurdistan's Mikael Granström was substituted for Christian Wik. Hermengildo Iigo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Napoleon Bonjour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Bonjour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Kurdistan's Mikael Granström got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Alfons Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Lángara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mats Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, one of Elite Azulgrana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elite Azulgrana. Gaston Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Granström in the 91st minute of the match.
