After 3 played minutes Elite Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Lekubegi. 4 minutes into the match, Isidro Lángara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Pilgren. Digital Monsterz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Lángara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Segundo Rameriz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Elite Azulgrana getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Isidro Lángara hit a great ball. Håkan Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gaston Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Digital Monsterz FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Bergström in the 21st minute of play forced Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Gaston Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lángara in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Isidro Lángara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Håkan Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Digital Monsterz FC's protests and gave Håkan Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Lángara in the 29th minute of play forced Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Fredrik Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Albin Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Bergström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Filiph Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Lund in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Gomez prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Lund to make the kick off. Isidro Lángara came free with the goalkeeper in the 50th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fredrik Pilgren could save by the left post. After 54 played minutes Elite Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Lekubegi. 56 minutes into the game, José Fossa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Digital Monsterz FC the free kick. José Fossa kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes, Digital Monsterz FC's Oliver Lindqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaston Gomez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Digital Monsterz FC reached it. In the 60th minute, Edmund Lund made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Gomez. Elite Azulgrana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Gaston Gomez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Filiph Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Digital Monsterz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Ekström couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Natalio Lekubegi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fredrik Pilgren. The goal made the score 1-2. Albin Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Gomez having to interfere. Natalio Lekubegi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Fredrik Pilgren made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Isidro Lángara sent off a good shot on target. Digital Monsterz FC's Fredrik Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Lángara in the 83rd minute of play. Fredrik Pilgren came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite Azulgrana's Natalio Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Natalio Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Digital Monsterz FC's Hannes Bock got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elite Azulgrana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
