After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Raul Mendiko got a free kick in the 9th minute. Zeledon Ferran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Vargas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lauro Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Mikolas in the 20th minute of play. Terremoto FC's Zeledon Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Cerezo in the 32nd minute of play. Lauro Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Hurko in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Vargas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Zeledon Ferran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matias Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Reynaldo Mikolas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terremoto FC and the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Mikolas to make the kick off. Zeledon Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Vargas in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Souza came free, but Zeledon Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Agnaldo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mirande. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ferran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo Mirande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Lauro Varela made a huge save. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lauro Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them.
