Decathlon Dudes's David Stout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Decathlon Dudes from getting a goal against them. David Stout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Decathlon Dudes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Bruce Mackney scored to the left of an out of position David Stout, making the score, 2-2. Grant Missen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diderik Dirks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Missen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harris Wijkstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christijan Oss to make the kick off. Otto Olfers hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
