The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Marcu Hagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Murgoci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Odobescu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Kazanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Bordeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BlueLionesse's Andrei Azamfirei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bambang Bamba in the 17th minute of play. Spurs To Glory's Zachariasz Kaczucha suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cristinel Gheorghiță fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BlueLionesse's protests and gave Cristinel Gheorghiță a yellow card for diving instead. Cristinel Gheorghiță hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alex Murgoci came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kazimierz Kazanowski could save by the left post. Ganga Banga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Spurs To Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Misiorowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Nicolae Bordeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spurs To Glory's Kazimierz Kazanowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolae Bordeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kazimierz Kazanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Bordeanu in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Murgoci to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Spurs To Glory's zone, Fabian Odobescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Kazanowski came out of the goal and Fabian Odobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Murgoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Kazanowski having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Nicolae Bordeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Kazanowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 63 minutes into the game, BlueLionesse's Alex Murgoci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Kazanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kazimierz Kazanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Bordeanu in the 66th minute of play. Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Spurs To Glory's Radoslaw Karaszkiewicz got a free kick in the 69th minute. 80 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Andrei Azamfirei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szczepan Ruzicki. The crowd rose to their feet as Bambang Bamba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrei Azamfirei. That made the score 2-1 in the 81 minute of play. In the 84th minute, Bambang Bamba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristinel Gheorghiță kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Nicolae Bordeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Kazanowski. Spurs To Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Bordeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 93 played minutes Spurs To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Brzakala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Odobescu in the 97th minute of play forced Spurs To Glory's goalkeeper Kazimierz Kazanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BlueLionesse's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
