The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Coronado in the 5th minute of play. After 10 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Teixeira. In the 11th minute Alessandro Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Coronado came free, but Pedro Luiz Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Rodolfo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 16th minute. Celsinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Wilton Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Osvaldo Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 30th minute. Osvaldo Marques made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Rodolfo Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. The nice shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Osvaldo Marques had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Coronado, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, AS Pikachuzim's Rodolfo Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half MAZER SAF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Coronado to make the kick off. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Alberto in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Denílson Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAZER SAF's Osvaldo Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MAZER SAF's Adriano Rosa was substituted for Jarbas Borges. When Angelo do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Angelo do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo do Vale hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Igor Coronado sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Arantes came free, but Osvaldo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Arantes in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Marques saved MAZER SAF from getting behind. 88 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAZER SAF the free kick. In the 88th minute, Rodolfo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Coronado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Luiz Matorin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The MAZER SAF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented AS Pikachuzim from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
