In the 12thth minute of the game Peng Xiong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Cannata in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Vito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. Lucas Savenije took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Mede in the 24th minute of play. Angel Vito came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Minotti. But to his dismay, Federico Minotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erubiel Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lucas Savenije made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Erubiel Mede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Aurelio Alba fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gonzo Style f.c's protests and gave Aurelio Alba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Xiong didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peng Xiong was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Erubiel Mede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Savenije saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Savenije stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peng Xiong's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Agustin Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Cannata got free with Angel Vito in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gonzo Style f.c had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
