After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Verstappen to make the kick off. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaldo Argüelles in the 51st minute of play. Alfonso Ugarte's Antonio Benavente managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ennio Fino in the 61 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzo Style f.c's Enzo Cannata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nistor Zdrobiş. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Biagio Baciadonne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nistor Zdrobiş made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Nistor Zdrobiş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Federico Minotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well-hit corner resulted in Ennio Fino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
