After a defensive mix-up in 【№1】湖南自由联队's zone, Gugu de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 谢永榕 came out of the goal and Gugu de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 谢永榕 having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, 【№1】湖南自由联队's goalkeeper 谢永榕 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu de Mendonça. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 任勇帆 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 任勇帆 in the 56th minute of play. Ariel Venerando was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and 任勇帆 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 任勇帆 really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet as 【№1】湖南自由联队's 任勇帆 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Venerando. That made the score 5-4 after 79 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Road To Glory's Rogelio Abeita got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, 【№1】湖南自由联队's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu de Mendonça came free, but 谢永榕 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
