An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Claude in the 6th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Guaberto Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot. Road To Glory's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Zonta got free with Ariel Venerando in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rubinho de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th match minute, Road To Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Claude's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho de Amaral was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Guaberto Claude might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Claude ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Claude came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Cruzeiro FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Inácio Mandrak hit a great ball. Gao Xing Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rubinho de Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, Guaberto Claude ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The wind increased when Guaberto Claude made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Road To Glory's Guaberto Claude dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 57th minute, Guaberto Claude left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Road To Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Leonardo Gaspard hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rogelio Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho de Amaral having to interfere. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when Real Cruzeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Claude in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Cruzeiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Xing Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Road To Glory's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Guaberto Claude advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-5 in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Claude in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho de Amaral saved Real Cruzeiro FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Guaberto Claude put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Rubinho de Amaral. 82 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's Guaberto Claude sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubinho de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Cruzeiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Xing Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Road To Glory's players had a chance to rest. Guaberto Claude blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubinho de Amaral having to make a save. Guaberto Claude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rubinho de Amaral made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Road To Glory's Guaberto Claude dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Rubinho de Amaral was a little too slow when Guaberto Claude got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Road To Glory left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Cruzeiro FC.
