After a rather tough play, Formentera's Paolo León got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Rosio in the 53rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Amanda van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Enmanuel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Louineaux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Nevada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fabio Monte hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's zone, Blas Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Louineaux came out of the goal and Blas Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Formentera booed when Los Tiburones Sorobarri C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alexander Louineaux made a huge save. Formentera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
