Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gordon Suarez to make the kick off. Vanadio F.C.'s Johan Kiewit was substituted for Roberto Sarri. In the 61st minute of the game Cresitobalo Rilo made a throw-in which Gabon Salantes played forward. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cresitobalo Rilo in the 62nd minute of the match. Maxin Oces took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Quexada. Cusco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leizarraga Olmedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Quexada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cusco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
