An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Mogren in the 9th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Hermengildo Jaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Cane came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Garrapatita Futbol's Alan Turin. But to his dismay, Alan Turin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nils Cane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Toribio in the 16th minute of the match. Hermengildo Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víkingur Bastarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Egil Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Turin in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Mogren came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Sven-Olof Mogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Jaume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Alan Turin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Cane. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Turin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nils Cane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Turin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Nils Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
