But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Lucchetta couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Pani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Attilio Pani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Andreasson should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Arturo Barbanti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvin Bergfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Bergfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Oskar Andreasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for forsal FC. AIK FOTBOLL's Sven-Oskar Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Pani in the 40th minute of play. Fedele Bardella was a little too slow when Victor Valenzuela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1.

AIK FOTBOLL's Manfred Blomkvist was substituted for Victor Valenzuela. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Pani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Pani in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Pani in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Oskar Andreasson saved AIK FOTBOLL from getting behind. Attilio Pani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sven-Oskar Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Simon to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. forsal FC's Arturo Barbanti got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Lucchetta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded forsal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AIK FOTBOLL.
