In the 10thth minute of the game Rubén Martínez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vintilă Bordeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Eladio Escalona made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Martínez in the 13th minute of play forced -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubén Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubén Martínez scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Lung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viper eSports's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Martínez came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Martínez in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Colo-Colo's Honorio Droguett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silviu Lung made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Chirilă in the 30th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Eladio Escalona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Rubén Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, -BZF- Viper eSports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Podgoreanu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubén Martínez in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviu Lung saved -BZF- Viper eSports from getting behind. Colo-Colo were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after -BZF- Viper eSports's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lalo Vilchez took the corner. The corner led Colo-Colo's Cheito Ramírez to fire away a dangerous shot which Silviu Lung despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Chano Garrido hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Lalo Vilchez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silviu Lung showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Colo-Colo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Stegaru to make the kick off. Rubén Martínez might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silviu Lung. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubén Martínez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 55th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Eladio Escalona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Colo-Colo were awarded a corner. Lalo Vilchez went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which José Julio Almeida managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eladio Escalona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vintilă Bordeanu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Rubén Martínez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Niculae Podgoreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eladio Escalona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rubén Martínez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Silviu Lung 74 minutes into the match. Colo-Colo made a substitution. Marco-Antonio Etcheverry replaced José Julio Almeida. Colo-Colo made a substitution. Carlitos Caszely replaced Honorio Droguett. Colo-Colo's Pablo Solari was substituted for Patrício Yáñez. In the 85th match minute, -BZF- Viper eSports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Chelbea to maneuver through the defense. Eladio Escalona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Podgoreanu in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Xander-Paul De Coster came free, but Eladio Escalona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Simón Iñiguez got a free kick in the 94th minute. Colo-Colo's Eladio Escalona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colo-Colo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
