Spectators: 7602 (Terracing: 5703, Seating: 1748, VIP seats: 151) VAMO ARRIBA's Piara Gerli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Tulio made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rene Egoitz however managed to control. Aquiles Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Rydberg got free with Aquiles Ellande in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Aquiles Ellande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kenneth Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Egoitz in the 11th minute of the match. Aquiles Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Ola Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Ellande made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ola Rydberg sent off a good shot on target. Ola Rydberg in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Kenneth Käcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The corner led VAMO ARRIBA's Rene Egoitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Kenneth Käcker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arye Suryoye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rene Egoitz was slow to take the kick. During this time VAMO ARRIBA's players had a chance to rest. If Ola Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ola Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Aquiles Ellande made a huge save. Kenneth Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Gerli in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Arye Suryoye's Kenneth Käcker got control of the ball when Eulalio Cucao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ola Rydberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Ellande having to make a save. Aquiles Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 81st minute Otto Hjälm collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 81 minutes, Paulino Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VAMO ARRIBA and the Arye Suryoye players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VAMO ARRIBA getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Paulino Galo hit a great ball. VAMO ARRIBA's Aquiles Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Beckeman in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes VAMO ARRIBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Loureiro who took care of the corner kick. After 94 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Björn Lindmark. In the 96th minute Rene Egoitz managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Many of VAMO ARRIBA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. VAMO ARRIBA may have spent more time on the ball, but Arye Suryoye were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
