Dónaldur Trumpf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferhat Uğuş having to make a save. When Dónaldur Trumpf came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dónaldur Trumpf couldn't finish the play. Dónaldur Trumpf scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferhat Uğuş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enginalp İnanoğlu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Ronaldo Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon van Persie's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Ferhat Uğuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 45th minute of play. If Ronaldo Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon van Persie to make the kick off. In the 67th minute, Ronaldo Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The ÇALIMLI supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estrella de Boedo's performance. The match ended with a win for Estrella de Boedo.
