With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Oteo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saved Estrella de Boedo from getting behind. Estrella de Boedo's Luciano Sanchez-Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Oteo in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gaúcho came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Estrella de Boedo got a corner. WAL Family United Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ronaldo Gaúcho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WAL Family United Team's Ulvi Ulvi did a great save. Fumanchu Porro charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fumanchu Porro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of WAL Family United Team booed when Estrella de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fumanchu Porro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benji Alsford struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAL Family United Team. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella de Boedo's zone, Rolando Oteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia came out of the goal and Rolando Oteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Oteo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Sanchez-Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gaúcho came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Ronaldo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ronaldo Gaúcho made a precise shot to the right of Ulvi Ulvi. WAL Family United Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Oteo to make the kick off.
