Tommy Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radovan Kulik having to interfere. The referee ignored Brutal DeLuxe's protests and gave Klas Kollberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Kollberg to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Vajanský, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Brutal DeLuxe's Thomas Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Wodaszak in the 40th minute of play. If Reine Gudmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, SDM Domino's goal looked a bit too open when Reine Gudmundsson came free, but Radovan Kulik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Michel Frisck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brutal DeLuxe and the SDM Domino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislav Vajanský took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Runeberg. Thomas Runeberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Waldemar Wodaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Runeberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in SDM Domino's zone, Reine Gudmundsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radovan Kulik came out of the goal and Reine Gudmundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radovan Kulik made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tommy Björkdahl sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ingemar Beckman hit a great ball. Reine Gudmundsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Radovan Kulik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Tommy Björkdahl came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Brutal DeLuxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Björkdahl couldn't finish the play. The Brutal DeLuxe fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Brutal DeLuxe's Reine Gudmundsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arne Blixt's late challenge caught a SDM Domino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
