Tito Chayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Duda Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tito Chayo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute Les diables noirs were awarded a corner. The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Terra in the 25th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Les diables noirs's Duda Terra in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tito Chayo came out of the goal and Steve Gabrielli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duda Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tito Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Gabrielli's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Israel Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Steve Gabrielli might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tito Chayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Gabrielli ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Gabrielli to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duda Terra. Tito Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Gabrielli in the 55th minute of play. Hermínio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 57th minute of play. Casimiro Cordarell took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Penha. Hermínio Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Duda Terra came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Les diables noirs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Terra couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Steve Gabrielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Steve Gabrielli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Steve Gabrielli sped through Nippur de Lagash 2's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tito Chayo. In the 71st minute Steve Gabrielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Léopold Guiraud almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo did a great save. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nippur de Lagash 2 from getting a goal against them. If Duda Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Sergio Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Les diables noirs's Duda Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Gabrielli in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tito Chayo saved Nippur de Lagash 2 from getting behind. After 84 minutes, Steve Gabrielli made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Marcelino Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Gabrielli in the 90th minute of play. The throw-in from Régis Labonne in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nippur de Lagash 2's Andres Mateus. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Gabrielli in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Casimiro Cordarell hit a great ball. Les diables noirs played a much better game than Nippur de Lagash 2 and deserved their victory. The Nippur de Lagash 2 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
