An unexpectedly hard shot by Kanu Kanu in the 3rd minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Mugur Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliusz Zieba in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kennet Kullander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Solskin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Juliusz Zieba scored to the left of an out of position Kennet Kullander, making the score, 1-0. Flavius Iriza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kennet Kullander firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Solskin getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Herbert Hök hit a great ball. FC GURZUN's Iustinian Găină shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kennet Kullander but with some difficulty. A hard shot 25 in the game by Juliusz Zieba from a close distance when the talented Kennet Kullander managed to make a qualified save. Solskin's players were relieved. In the 26th minute, Kanu Kanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solskin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mugur Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Henriksson in the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Juliusz Zieba took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Kennet Kullander to make any attempt to save it. Kennet Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Zieba in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Henriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Juliusz Zieba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After some careless play in the Solskin defense, Juliusz Zieba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kennet Kullander. The Solskin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kennet Kullander should have stopped the shot. Kennet Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Zieba in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Sven Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, FC GURZUN's Juliusz Zieba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kennet Kullander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. 71 minutes into the match, Juliusz Zieba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kennet Kullander. Solskin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliusz Zieba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Mugur Suşu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Per Gadd sent off a good shot on target. Mugur Suşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kanu Kanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Juliusz Zieba notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Solskin's Kennet Kullander. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC GURZUN fully deserved thier win.
