The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Czech got free with Miguel Poças in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Bomba in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Borubar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 31st minute of the match. Głodne Ghule u21 were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Koller took the corner. After taking down the ball on Głodne Ghule u21's corner Jan Koller fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Poças quite easily take care of the ball. Arturo Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Bomba in the 34th minute of play. Kajetan Rukszcz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Poças read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Jan Koller made a great header on Głodne Ghule u21's corner, it was just that F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Miguel Poças managed to reach the ball for a save.

The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when Głodne Ghule u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Bomba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Borubar having to interfere. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Głodne Ghule u21 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anísio Domingues hit a great ball. Inácio Secco struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Arturo Borubar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Paços de Ferreira. In the 89th minute, Cristian Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Inácio Secco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Głodne Ghule u21's Arturo Borubar. Arturo Borubar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inácio Secco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Arturo Borubar made a huge save. In the 95th minute F.C. Paços de Ferreira were awarded a corner. Igor Tudor went to the cornerflag to take it. F.C. Paços de Ferreira played a much better game than Głodne Ghule u21 and deserved their victory. The Głodne Ghule u21 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
