PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Goffyn in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Goffyn. Roni Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valer Onișoru was a little too slow when Roni Coryn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Roni Coryn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Onișoru having to interfere. Roni Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Dauwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Ţurlău, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roni Coryn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roni Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Viktor Goffyn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacardi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Roni Coryn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valer Onișoru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roni Coryn's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Roni Coryn struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Valer Onișoru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. A sloppy throw-in by Silver Phoenix in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bacardi FC's Geert-Jan Tuytgans. In the 70th minute Viktor Goffyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Onișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bacardi FC's Pieter-Jan Anteunis was substituted for Geert-Jan Tuytgans. A sloppy throw-in by Silver Phoenix in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bacardi FC's Pieter-Jan Anteunis. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
