Caskinha Sport Clube's Gernando Cardozo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luiz Eduardo Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Latif Al Fakir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Tróia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Latif Al Fakir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Latif Al Fakir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 11th minute. Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray SK from getting a goal against them. Eldad Stock kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Arkadiy Molchanov made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Yiğit Özdoğru however managed to control. Gilberto dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Latif Al Fakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Tróia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Latif Al Fakir. Luiz Eduardo Tróia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leandro Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Özdoğru in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Caskinha Sport Clube booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Pylev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Eduardo Tróia had several of the Galatasaray SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Latif Al Fakir as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arkadiy Molchanov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Tróia got free with Latif Al Fakir in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Olavo Terra replaced Gernando Cardozo. The wind increased when Anders Målare made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gilberto dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caskinha Sport Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Luiz Eduardo Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Al Fakir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Caskinha Sport Clube's Leandro Neves got control of the ball when Yiğit Özdoğru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the game Arkadiy Molchanov made a throw-in which Yiğit Özdoğru played forward. If Luiz Eduardo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Gilberto dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Iván Zamorano replaced Luiz Eduardo Tróia. In the 76th minute, Iván Zamorano made a precise shot to the right of Latif Al Fakir. Galatasaray SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Zamorano in the 80th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Latif Al Fakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Galatasaray SK's Yiğit Özdoğru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Arkadiy Molchanov got a free kick in the 90th minute. Latif Al Fakir came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Caskinha Sport Clube's Iván Zamorano. But to his dismay, Iván Zamorano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Latif Al Fakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Zamorano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Caskinha Sport Clube support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
