The referee ignored Eigtheenstars 2's protests and gave Iker Loren a yellow card for diving instead. Iker Loren hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Ambrosio Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rashid Paddington hit a great ball. Ignacio Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Hultstrand in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Afonso in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignacio Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Afonso in the 26th minute of the match. Osvaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Faro in the 30th minute of the match. Ignacio Valery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Francesco hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eigtheenstars 2's zone, Leopoldo Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Valery came out of the goal and Leopoldo Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Zacarias Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 49 minutes Eigtheenstars 2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emre Can who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Leopoldo Afonso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Eigtheenstars 2 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Characate FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Faro to make the kick off. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Eigtheenstars 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Characate FC's Leopoldo Afonso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Valery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvano Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Alexander Hultstrand threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eigtheenstars 2's Ildefonso Uhin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eigtheenstars 2's Denis Pierres was substituted for Federico Quinten. 75 minutes into the game, Zacarias Francesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ignacio Valery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ignacio Valery came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Zacarias Francesco. But to his dismay, Zacarias Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Eigtheenstars 2 made a substitution. Mauro Caruso replaced Julio Faro. Zacarias Francesco made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ignacio Valery would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's Alexander Hultstrand got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ignacio Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Francesco in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Eigtheenstars 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eigtheenstars 2's Mauro Caruso got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Characate FC played a much better game than Eigtheenstars 2 and deserved their victory. The Eigtheenstars 2 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
