Palmeiras's Hadi Zamani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Aresti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 9 minutes into the match, Hadi Zamani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Aresti. La Z del ZORRO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hadi Zamani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Modesto Aresti came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Palmeiras's Cristiano Antunes. But to his dismay, Cristiano Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Modesto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Eger in the 17th minute of play. Cristiano Antunes scored 0-5 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Aresti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Antunes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Aresti. Modesto Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 31 minutes into the match, Hadi Zamani notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of La Z del ZORRO's Modesto Aresti. Modesto Aresti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 minutes of play, S.E. Palmeiras's Herbert Lindholm made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Lindholm scored 0-10 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Aresti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Antunes in the 43rd minute of play forced La Z del ZORRO's goalkeeper Modesto Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bernabe Giro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Z del ZORRO's protests and gave Bernabe Giro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, La Z del ZORRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Giro to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Lindholm took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Aresti. Modesto Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-11 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Ralondo to make the kick off. Modesto Aresti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Antunes in the 53rd minute. When Herbert Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the S.E. Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Lindholm couldn't finish the play. Modesto Aresti was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Herbert Lindholm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Lindholm really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Lindholm in the 58th minute of play forced La Z del ZORRO's goalkeeper Modesto Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, S.E. Palmeiras's Herbert Lindholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Aresti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. After 63 minutes of play, S.E. Palmeiras's Cristiano Antunes made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Modesto Aresti was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Hadi Zamani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadi Zamani in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the La Z del ZORRO defense, Cristiano Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Aresti. The La Z del ZORRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Aresti should have stopped the shot. Ulisses Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, La Z del ZORRO's goalkeeper Modesto Aresti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Antunes. La Z del ZORRO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jann Sønnichsen 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-19. La Z del ZORRO's Modesto Aresti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save La Z del ZORRO from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, La Z del ZORRO's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Lindholm came free, but Modesto Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, S.E. Palmeiras's Hadi Zamani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-20. The La Z del ZORRO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.E. Palmeiras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
