The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Medardo. After having played for 7 minutes, Erlin Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Git!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Erlin Håland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Git!'s Oktay Kahveci managed to work through Sportivo Constitución's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Oktay Kahveci dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Duman Temizcan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Erico went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25thth minute of the game Arsenio Erico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Git!'s Duman Temizcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Uzuri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oktay Kahveci in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Erlin Håland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enzo Uzuri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute of the match, Oktay Kahveci got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enzo Uzuri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Håland in the 36th minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Enzo Uzuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Erico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Erico in the 45th minute of play forced La Git!'s goalkeeper Duman Temizcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Baggio during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes La Git! got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Baggio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Erico to strike the kick off in the second half. Enzo Uzuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Kahveci in the 51st minute of play. Enzo Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behram Vacit, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Sportivo Constitución defense, Behram Vacit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Uzuri. The Sportivo Constitución fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Uzuri should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, La Git!'s Fedele Baggio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Enzo Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behram Vacit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlin Håland in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Behram Vacit came free, but Enzo Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, La Git!'s Duman Temizcan got control of the ball when Arsenio Erico tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sportivo Constitución defense, Behram Vacit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Uzuri. The Sportivo Constitución fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Uzuri should have stopped the shot. Sportivo Constitución's Benjamin Osorio was substituted for Ramon Frechoso. Isidoro Theobald hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Duman Temizcan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arsenio Erico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Medardo got free with Duman Temizcan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Uzuri came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by La Git!'s Eulalio Xabier. But to his dismay, Eulalio Xabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. La Git!'s Duman Temizcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Medardo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Ciriaco Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Temizcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Git! getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sagi Bek hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Eulalio Xabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Uzuri. Sportivo Constitución's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Xabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. La Git!'s Duman Temizcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Medardo in the 95th minute of play.
