But to his dismay, Danilo Errolan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Futbol Club RRFV's Danilo Errolan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alix Geoffray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Martins in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Camille Thiéblemont hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Robinet came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hakim Foussard hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Leonel Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alix Geoffray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alix Geoffray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Sanches in the 31st minute of play. Alix Geoffray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Danilo Errolan sped through Rathmore Lime Tree's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alix Geoffray. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Robinet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alix Geoffray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Errolan in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Tande. In the 56th minute of the match Erwann Bray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Velasco skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Sanches during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rathmore Lime Tree's Pierre-Antoine Fouche was substituted for Toufik Loir. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Robinet in the 59th minute of play. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Antoine Fouche in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Pierre-Antoine Fouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Robinet struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Angelo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree. Rathmore Lime Tree's Benjamin Loth was substituted for Erwann Bray. If Danilo Errolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Yves Robinet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club RRFV the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Robinet to maneuver through the defense. Alix Geoffray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Errolan in the 83rd minute of the match. Alix Geoffray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Sanches went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 92nd match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Durvalino Silva in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rathmore Lime Tree's Benjamin Loth. When the match was over Futbol Club RRFV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rathmore Lime Tree throughout the match.
