Tomáš Mendl hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Özdilek in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto de Queiroz saved Pardubice Hurricanes from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Özdilek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto de Queiroz was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. José Augusto de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Georg Simonsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper Fang Xing Ang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jiří Rychtář came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pardubice Hurricanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jiří Rychtář couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Fiřt didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Björklund in the 25th minute of play. Albin Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto de Queiroz having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Albin Björklund took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for José Augusto de Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Rychtář in the 34th minute of play forced Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper Fang Xing Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Augusto de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Özdilek in the 38th minute of play. Fang Xing Ang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jiří Rychtář's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Winford McGraw kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Fang Xing Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Rychtář, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Özdilek was the one to do the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Mehmet Özdilek shot 2-0, a short shot which went by José Augusto de Queiroz and just under the crossbar into goal. José Augusto de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Simonsson in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Özdilek in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Rychtář got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rossoneri XI's Honorato Soveral was substituted for Albin Björklund. 64 minutes into the game, Rossoneri XI's Torsten Giliusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Augusto de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jiří Rychtář's late challenge caught a Rossoneri XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiří Rychtář helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Rychtář didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pardubice Hurricanes's Leonid Fiřt got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Rossoneri XI's Mehmet Özdilek in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pardubice Hurricanes's goalie prevented a goal. Jiří Rychtář could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fang Xing Ang made a huge save. After having played for 84 minutes, Jiří Rychtář managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pardubice Hurricanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiří Rychtář was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvald Mervart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomil Prusinowski charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomil Prusinowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jiří Rychtář took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fang Xing Ang. Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jiří Rychtář who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Fang Xing Ang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Mehmet Özdilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiří Rychtář got free with Fang Xing Ang in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pardubice Hurricanes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
