Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Soroka in the 8th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Fabrizio Catapano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match SV Bad Harzburg got a corner. Chuquisaca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Schira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Werner Colvin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Matuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Jurek Ohrem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fraco Abel made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SV Bad Harzburg's Oreste-Osmar Corbatta. Daniel Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fabrizio Catapano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Lars Schira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Becker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrizio Catapano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Werner Colvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Werner Colvin made a kick off. The throw-in from España Barajas in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SV Bad Harzburg's Oreste-Osmar Corbatta. Jacek Matuch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Werner Colvin's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Werner Colvin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacek Matuch. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacek Matuch should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Loi in the 70th minute of play forced Chuquisaca's goalkeeper Fabrizio Catapano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chuquisaca booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oreste-Osmar Corbatta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyprian Soroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werner Colvin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. In the 81stth minute of the game Silvestre Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuquisaca's Fabrizio Catapano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio Catapano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's Werner Colvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chuquisaca's Shepherd Abaurre was substituted for Vicemte Abancens. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Bad Harzburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xurdin Abello was slow to take the kick. During this time Chuquisaca's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Shepherd Abaurre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch did a great save. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Shepherd Abaurre sped through SV Bad Harzburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shepherd Abaurre in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Chuquisaca got a freekick which was hit by Anier Maidana. In the 93rd minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Catapano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chuquisaca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
