Cristian Urti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 8th minute, Jorge Cervera fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. James Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Franco in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, El Azulgrana's Cristian Urti got control of the ball when Jorge Cervera tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jorge Cervera sped through El Azulgrana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Urti. In the 19th minute Jorge Cervera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. James Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Franco in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Primitivo Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Cervera in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Urti saved El Azulgrana from getting behind. If Jorge Cervera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Candido Ospin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Los Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Ospin couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Jorge Cervera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Urti. Jorge Cervera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 43rd minute, Gerasimos Tatoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ijaz Putāns's late challenge caught a Los Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ijaz Putāns helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, El Azulgrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ijaz Putāns to maneuver through the defense. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Azulgrana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 俞广扬 was slow to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Cervera made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Raimundo Corderro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but James Barnes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the El Azulgrana defense, Jorge Cervera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Urti. The El Azulgrana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Urti should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Los Piratas FC's Jorge Cervera got a free kick in the 60th minute. Oscar Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristian Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Ospin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Urti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77thth minute of the game Jorge Cervera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Azulgrana's Cristian Urti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Los Piratas FC's James Barnes got control of the ball when Vinicio Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Urti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the match, Candido Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Urti. El Azulgrana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Los Piratas FC's Herald Roockeloes was substituted for 俞广扬. In the 86th minute, Jorge Cervera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Urti was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when El Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Piratas FC's Moises Luzea got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
