Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Semeno in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fermin Reno hit a great ball. Genaro Elivareo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Baldomiro Cibran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcel Dinescu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ramón Garay hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Anastasio Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Dinescu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Abuba Akotonon FC from getting behind. Leonel Semeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Barbosa in the 29th minute of play. Leonel Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Min in the 32nd minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Min, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Quilaquina AFC's Abel Harri was substituted for Fermin Reno. The wind increased when Vicente Tristan made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Cecilio Tristan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Cibran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 60 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Cibran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Quilaquina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Cibran should have stopped the shot. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Elivareo in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Barbosa in the 74th minute of play forced Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Vânderson Barbosa notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran. Baldomiro Cibran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ernesto Oxarra was substituted for Ramiro Rey. In the 86th minute Vânderson Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Cibran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abuba Akotonon FC's Emiliano Enol was substituted for Cecilio Tristan. There was no doubt that Abuba Akotonon FC were the better team. Abuba Akotonon FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
