Ascacibar-Pérez's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Telmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martín Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martín Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martín Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Ferran during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dallen Fc booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Einar Holmberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatan Beck. In the 44th minute, Martín Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jonas Isaksson came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Ascacibar-Pérez's Martín Palermo. But to his dismay, Martín Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

Ascacibar-Pérez's Einar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Åhlberg in the 60th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Dallen Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ascacibar-Pérez:s goal. Dallen Fc's Jonas Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Palermo in the 66th minute of play. Aristides Santos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jonas Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascacibar-Pérez. 71 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goalkeeper Jonas Isaksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Palermo. In the 73rd minute, Aristides Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The tension between the Dallen Fc and the Ascacibar-Pérez players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dallen Fc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Estavan got free with Jonas Isaksson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Desiderio Izotz took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Jonas Isaksson to make any attempt to save it. Jonas Isaksson stood somewhat misplaced when Desiderio Izotz came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 97 minute.
