Gar Pike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthimos Tsoulkas in the 4th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Arvin Ljungberg with Mikolaj Siwek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anthimos Tsoulkas sped through Djurgården IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gar Pike. In the 16th minute, Anthimos Tsoulkas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Anthimos Tsoulkas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gar Pike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kristen Lijsens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthimos Tsoulkas in the 27th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Gar Pike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gar Pike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthimos Tsoulkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthimos Tsoulkas in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gar Pike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Nilsson in the 36th minute of play. Milanis E.C.'s Thor Bruhn quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mikolaj Siwek, made in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, one of Djurgården IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Djurgården IF. Anthimos Tsoulkas shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthimos Tsoulkas to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Anthimos Tsoulkas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gar Pike was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Djurgården IF's Arvin Ljungberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. Emerson Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthimos Tsoulkas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gar Pike. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Anthimos Tsoulkas scored 0-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gar Pike, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anthimos Tsoulkas might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gar Pike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthimos Tsoulkas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivo Van Houdtvinck kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Anthimos Tsoulkas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Djurgården IF's Gar Pike got control of the ball when Anthimos Tsoulkas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthimos Tsoulkas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gar Pike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthimos Tsoulkas ran back to his position shaking his head. Gar Pike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Tsoulkas in the 75th minute of play. Gar Pike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthimos Tsoulkas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gar Pike having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Tsoulkas came free, but Gar Pike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Djurgården IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Milanis E.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Milanis E.C..
