To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Richard Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Limoeiro-PE FC's Zé Pedro Mandrak got control of the ball when 孔阳枫 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kléberson Gomes went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Limoeiro-PE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
