An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quico Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quico Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Carlos Augusto Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sotresgudo S.A.D. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 15 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Emesto De Pablo. After some careless play in the VALPICA C.F. defense, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ramos should have stopped the shot. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Ramos having to interfere. Rodrigo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the VALPICA C.F. defense, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ramos should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in VALPICA C.F. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s Ezequiel Garay after 29 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Senio came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Senio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Ramos saved VALPICA C.F. from getting behind. Carlos Augusto Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Ramos having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s Carlos Augusto Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but I Putu í Lon Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the VALPICA C.F. defense, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. The VALPICA C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ramos should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

VALPICA C.F.'s Asier Canal was substituted for Emesto De Pablo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quico Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute I Putu í Lon Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 67th minute of the match. Bizen Vuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 77th minute I Putu í Lon Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quico Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rodrigo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Gerardo Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 84th minute of play. Rodrigo Ramos was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and I Putu í Lon Jacobsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Sotresgudo S.A.D.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
