Holger Joensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Toscano having to interfere. Holger Joensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nando Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Messias got free with Sigge Holmberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Lekparken FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Wallander. In the 45th minute of the match, Holger Joensson sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Nando Toscano showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Carl Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nando Toscano made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Holger Joensson sent off a good shot on target. Erling Boklund's late challenge caught a Escuadrón Mercenario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erling Boklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Erling Boklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Lekparken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Messias came free, but Sigge Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Escuadrón Mercenario got a corner. Lekparken FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gartxot Abeita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Escuadrón Mercenario's Gartxot Abeita to fire away a dangerous shot which Sigge Holmberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Lekparken FC's Holger Joensson in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
