The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren got control of the ball when Edgar Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Vigário to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Kennet Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Frasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Frasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Kennet Fernström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alex Frasca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Costa got free with Matthias Lindgren in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Karl Söderlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Bern scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Frasca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Max Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Garanhão do SUL defense, Brian Bern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Frasca. The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Frasca should have stopped the shot. Brian Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alex Frasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Aloísio Garcez got a free kick in the 36th minute. Brian Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garanhão do SUL's João Viana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dexiators.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amado Vigário scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Karl Söderlund. After 57 played minutes, Garanhão do SUL's João Viana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garanhão do SUL reached it. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Torcato Rebocho hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Edgar Costa notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Frasca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Bern in the 69th minute. Matthias Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Vigário in the 71st minute of the match. Alex Frasca came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dexiators's Kennet Fernström. But to his dismay, Kennet Fernström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Josué Ramos replaced Márcio Leiria. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. 孙誉剑 replaced Cássio Estrada. In the 80th minute, Dexiators's Kennet Fernström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Frasca. Alex Frasca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Ove Hökqvist with Brian Bern as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Lobato during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fábio Lobato hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Max Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Dexiators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Brian Bern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alex Frasca made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Edgar Costa notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
