The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Ubarna got free with Almir Miranda in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Refugio in the 15th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, TILCARA F C's Romulo Refugio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romulo Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Miranda having to interfere. TILCARA F C's Edgardo Ubarna came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Almir Miranda had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a rather tough play, Mitnarotov FC's Márcio Munhoz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mitnarotov FC's Almir Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mitnarotov FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitnarotov FC's goalkeeper Almir Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Almir Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Ibañez went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mitnarotov FC's zone, Edgardo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Miranda came out of the goal and Edgardo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Fernan Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mitnarotov FC's Fred Luz got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Romulo Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Fernan Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to TILCARA F C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Almir Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
