The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Frederik Dhondt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Basarab Secoşan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 12th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Basarab Secoşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Frederik Dhondt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basarab Secoşan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 24th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Basarab Secoşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after FC Cosula-BTF-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maksymilian Bulkiewicz took the corner. 34 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Alexe came free, but Basarab Secoşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Secoşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Allan Shearer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Frederik Dhondt scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Secoşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Allan Shearer made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Allan Shearer came free, but Basarab Secoşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Secoşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Shearer in the 62nd minute of play. Basarab Secoşan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After 69 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ciprian Alexe made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Secoşan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Bulkiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Basarab Secoşan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Hosu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Hosu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Alexe scored 0-11 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Secoşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Octav Albescu replaced Maksymilian Bulkiewicz. 89 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Octav Albescu came free, but Basarab Secoşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gavril Bobei hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Ciprian Alexe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Secoşan came out of the goal and Ciprian Alexe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
