When Abelardo Román fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VERDE NILO's protests and gave Abelardo Román a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when VERDE NILO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Román didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Secoşan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarías Cardenas went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fedele Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Irimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Arsene. 31 minutes into the match, Zacarías Cardenas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Secoşan. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarías Cardenas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Basarab Secoşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Román in the 35th minute of the match. Fedele Montini was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Dorin Nebunu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorin Nebunu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 42nd minute, Iurie Honciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarías Cardenas scored 1-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Secoşan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Cosula-BTF- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VERDE NILO were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Zacarías Cardenas made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Zacarías Cardenas made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Basarab Secoşan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Secoşan made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Policarpio Lukaschewski sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as VERDE NILO's Zacarías Cardenas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basarab Secoşan. That made the score 1-6 after 67 minutes of play. VERDE NILO's Román Potts was substituted for Carlos Saúl Arens. 72 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Basarab Secoşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Román. 74 minutes into the match, Abelardo Román had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Secoşan. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Román was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. 76 minutes into the game, Abelardo Román recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basarab Secoşan. Abelardo Román showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelardo Román was slow to take the kick. During this time VERDE NILO's players had a chance to rest. VERDE NILO's Abelardo Román was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Basarab Secoşan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Policarpio Lukaschewski got free with Basarab Secoşan in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basarab Secoşan made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Policarpio Lukaschewski sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Basarab Secoşan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Policarpio Lukaschewski. Basarab Secoşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Paul Sartre, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Basarab Secoşan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Román in the 91st minute of the match. Basarab Secoşan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarías Cardenas in the 93rd minute of play. Abelardo Román received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Basarab Secoşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VERDE NILO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
