In the 11th minute, Stig Matthiessen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Dom Kyle. The crowd rose to their feet as Gert Jansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chesney Bastow. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 15th match minute, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Pelc to maneuver through the defense. Stig Matthiessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chesney Bastow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Chesney Bastow made a huge save. Gabriel Björnberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Chesney Bastow 24 minutes into the match. Gerry Bibby struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nestor Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ. With a little luck, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Chesney Bastow got control of the ball when Gabriel Björnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalkeeper Chesney Bastow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Björnberg. After some careless play in the ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ defense, Stig Matthiessen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chesney Bastow. The ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chesney Bastow should have stopped the shot. Chesney Bastow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Björnberg in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Matthiessen to strike the kick off in the second half. ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Chesney Bastow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Matthiessen in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes, Beetlejuice's Stig Vennerdal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chesney Bastow came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beetlejuice reached it. After a rather tough play, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Damion Stride got a free kick in the 54th minute. Stig Matthiessen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chesney Bastow. Chesney Bastow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Beetlejuice's Gabriel Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ booed when Beetlejuice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beetlejuice's zone, Julian Pelc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Nunes came out of the goal and Julian Pelc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Jansson came free, but Chesney Bastow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pete Mansell fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's protests and gave Pete Mansell a yellow card for diving instead. Pete Mansell hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Stig Matthiessen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beetlejuice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Matthiessen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Jansson in the 76th minute of play forced ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalkeeper Chesney Bastow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesney Bastow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Matthiessen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chesney Bastow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Matthiessen in the 83rd minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Beetlejuice's Stig Matthiessen made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chesney Bastow was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ booed when Beetlejuice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Beetlejuice getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gottfrid Tingelholm hit a great ball.
